Mostly, computer forensics experts investigate data storage devices, such as hard drives, USB drives, and mobile phone memories.

• South West region ...The South West region covers part of South West England and part of the Thames Valley. Centred around Swindon the South West region covers Bristol, Bath, Gloucester, Swindon, Oxford, Reading and Newbury.
• West Midlands region ...The West Midlands region covers Birmingham and the surrounding area, including Coventry, Sutton Coldfield, Tamworth & Lichfield, Gloucester, Walsall & West Bromwich, Hereford, Worcester, Solihull & South East Birmingham, Wolverhampton, South West Birmingham, Redditch & Bromsgrove, Chester & North Wales.
• Wales region ...The Wales region covers South and Mid Wales. Based in the Swansea area the Wales region covers Swansea and South West Wales, Cardiff and West Valleys, Newport and East Valleys, Hereford, Shrewsbury, Telford and Mid Wales. Chester and North Wales is covered by the West Midlands region.
